Research Projects & Activities

- Study and investigation the properties of common high temperature polymers in drilling fluids.
​- Study and investigation the synthesis methods of prevalent polymers in drilling fluids and their synthesis in laboratory. 
- Introducing different types of drilling fluids systems to avoid existing technical problems. These problems are in the following order:
Polymeric lost circulation controller systems. 
Low-weight drilling fluid systems for drilling low pressure areas.
Synthetic based drilling fluids as a substitute for oil based drilling fluid
Completion fluids systems to avoid reservoir damage.
- Identification, simulation, optimization and liquid additives synthesis used in drilling fluids.
- Identification and application of nanoadditives in drilling fluids.
- Development of the applicable waste management processes in drilling industry.
